Scoot Gold Headline Award WinnerConcise Training Ltd, based in Faringdon, has won a Scoot Headline Award in the national campaign to find Britain’s most successful companies. They competed against more than 1000 other nominations in the Awards, and they were presented with their trophy and certificate at a glittering presentation ceremony in St Martin in the Fields, Trafalgar Square, London at the end of April.

They won the Training and Education Gold award and the judges commented
“In 2008 Mary was determined to be a great mum, but still needed an income. She felt working from home and combining her passion for training and IT skills could meet her needs.

After considering her options she created Concise Training. She has steadily built the business up, focussing on Social Media and Digital Marketing education, and has developed a world-first qualification in the subject – Level 3 City and Guilds ITQ Social Media

The business is now supplying training globally, including use by Pitman training and the Distance Learning Centre. The qualification portfolio has increased and they offer City & Guilds accredited Diplomas in Social Media for Business and Digital Marketing. The business now has a six figure turnover – but Mary is still a great mum too.”
